I spent my first years at The Planning Center’s New Orleans office followed by a move to Tulsa to live near my family. As a financial planner, I get the opportunity to talk through important and complex considerations with clients about their hopes, goals, and values. We discuss options to best achieve desired outcomes with efficient use of resources. I service clients in various parts of the country both virtually and in person to accommodate our client’s schedules and needs. Our services include every aspect of financial planning, from cash flow and debt management, to sophisticated insurance and estate planning. I am proud to work at a company that adheres to a fiduciary advisory standard at all times and that leverages the entire team to service our clients to the best of our abilities.
My experience as a former teacher and high school counselor informs my role as a financial planner daily. Clients come to us with life questions concerning their finances, and hope to receive thoughtful, competent, and trustworthy responses. In many ways, a financial planner is a life coach, helping people navigate their financial planning in light of their values, hopes, and responsibilities.
Although the clients I support vary widely in their backgrounds, I find myself particularly drawn to working with entrepreneurs, educators and business owners. I love solving new, complex problems and teaching meaningful financial literacy to clients.
Growing up in the Pacific Northwest gave me an appreciation for lush, green forests, and water—whether streams, oceans, or lakes
that is difficult to put into words. I value new experiences. Some of my most cherished memories are of discovering new places, new foods and new cultures with those I love.
For social activities, I love playing sports, such as flag football and rugby. I’m always up for some rock climbing or obstacle courses racing. I’ve completed 5 triathlons and aspire to one day complete an Ironman. For personal relaxation, I can be found swimming, on a track, or at the gym lifting weights.
