Jude Boudreaux, CFP®, Senior Financial Planner at The Planning Center, was recently featured in a CNBC article about the movements in the bond and stock market. Talking about the rebalancing strategy often employed by advisors, Jude said, “I feel like it’s one of the least sexy – but probably most useful – investment ideas around.”
Rebalancing a portfolio is a way to make sure the asset allocation realigns to the right risk level and it can also come with additional benefits. “It’s a disciplined way to buy low and sell high, which historically is the fundamental idea of what to do in [financial] markets,” explained Boudreaux.
