My responsibilities as a senior accountant consists of preparing and reviewing financial documents as well as monthly, quarterly, and annual filings. In addition to those duties, I maintain accounts payables, process cash receipts, and perform a variety of accounting duties within the company. I served six and a half years in the United States Army before pursuing my career in accounting. My experience in the Army is one of the biggest factors that contribute to my keen eye for details and my love of keeping things organized.

Who inspires me:
My mother is one of my biggest inspirations. I would describe her as the “calm to my storm,” because she exhibits multiple qualities that I strive to one day possess. She has the ability to see the good in every person she encounters and always gives without expectation. She inspires me every day to be a better me than I was yesterday and you don’t come across people like that every day.
My favorite things:
Chocolate and a good book.
My greatest extravagance (under a $100):
Ice cream. For me, it is the closest thing to a scoop of happiness that I can buy.
My favorite place is Louisiana. It is where I was born and raised, and being able to go back to a slower paced environment every once in a while gives me a chance to regroup mentally and stay grounded.
In my spare time:
I enjoy spending time with my family.
We make decisions with future generations in mind
We learn and teach continuously
We hold ourselves accountable for pursuing the highest standards
We build powerful relationships by working towards common goals
We work directly for our clients and put client’s interests first
We listen and keep an open mind
