I recently contributed to a piece for the Financial Planning Association’s consumer website on the topic of crafting a disaster plan. The images of Japan in the aftermath of the Tsunami called me to reflect on our own experiences with Katrina. We were prepared, but not as well as we could have been. Hopefully this piece will encourage others to revisit their own planning and take steps now.
