Being retired, I miss the daily interaction with people. I enjoy being able to come into The Planning Center for four or five months each year during tax season to be involved with the great people who work here and all of our clients. It gives me a feeling of satisfaction knowing I can still be a help and contribute to the group. In my spare time, I enjoy golfing with friends, water aerobics, going for walks, and working in my yard with all my flowers.
Affiliations: Fee-Only Planning
Education: Graduated from Alleman High School
Memberships: I belonged to Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority, holding office of Secretary, Treasurer and Chairman of our charitable donations. We were a social sorority and raised money for Augustana Speech and Hearing Center.
Who inspires me:
My biggest inspiration was my parents. They taught me to treat people as I would want to be treated. They were always there whenever I needed understanding, love, and guidance in anything I was attempting to do. They were the best role models in everything they did.
My favorite things:
Going out to dinner with good friends and reading a good book.
My personal hero:
My husband Larry is my hero. He has taught me patience and a better understanding of people. He is a person who sees the good in all people and is willing to do anything for anybody who needs his help. He is very easy going and just takes each day at a time. He helps keep me grounded.
My favorite place would be Richland, Washington where our daughter, her husband, and her two daughters live. We have two beautiful granddaughters, Taylor, who is a junior at Washington State University and Alexa, who is a freshman also at Washington State. Go Cougs!
