As the Chief Operating Officer here at TPC, my main areas of focus are with our people, processes, technology and compliance. That could be supporting our OPS staff and their daily workflow, onboarding and training on new technologies, updating our internal processes or any special projects happening within the company.
After graduating from St. Ambrose University with my B.A. in Theatre, I spent ten years working in Operations with multiple companies here in the Quad Cities Area. I am fortunate enough that these experiences have brought me to The Planning Center to work along some of the best this industry has to offer. My goal is to help build the best infrastructure possible so we can continue giving unparalleled service to our clients.

“Far and away the best prize that life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.” [Teddy Roosevelt]

After moving around the Southern US while growing up, I have found an outstanding home here in the Quad Cities with my wife Meredith. I’m not sure how I’ve come to love the Quad Cities so much. Maybe it’s the crisp fall air or QC sunsets. Maybe it’s crossing the Mississippi River each day with local coffee in tow or possibly our proximity to the Iowa Hawkeyes. Maybe it’s spending time golfing, hiking, playing volleyball, riding my bike, working out, local church ministries, supporting local arts, checking each state off my list while we travel or dinner at local restaurants. My guess is that it’s being able to experience all of these things with a loving wife, close family and longtime friends.

Credentials

  • B.A. in Theatre, St. Ambrose University 2008

Who inspires me:

My family and friends.  Everyone has something to teach you if you care to listen.

My greatest extravagance (under $100):

A good craft beer with friends. It’s pretty hard to beat that.

In my spare time:

You can probably find me being active somewhere, whether it’s playing golf, playing volleyball, riding my bike, going to the gym, or just playing board games.

Favorite destination:

Wherever the annual summer excursion with my college buddies takes us.

Why I love what I do:

I refer back to the quote I listed above, and would add that the prize is so much better when working alongside a wonderful team.
