I founded my own firm, Aequus Wealth Management Resources, based on the idea of helping clients make better financial decisions. I was an early advocate of Behavioral Finance, recognizing that we all are influenced by more than facts. Our emotions, experiences, and upbringing will sometimes interfere with rational decision-making. It has been extremely gratifying to merge Aequus’ business and traditions with those of The Planning Center. I am inspired by the many clients who have overcome life events and obstacles to lead the life they envisioned, and reach their heartfelt goals that fully reflect their values. It has been a privilege to be a part of their journey.
Traveling is one of my passions. One favorite trip included a visit to Machu Picchu in Peru with my daughter (and business partner) Michelle and my son, Jean-Paul. Another was a month-long exploration of Argentina’s largest city, Buenos Aries, with my husband, Sheldon. Recently I took a solo Safari in Africa. Another of my favorite destinations is Sedona, Arizona. There I love to hike amid the red rocks and takes time to reflect and recharge.
I am enthusiastic about leading an active life and I work hard to keep life in balance. I have worked out with the same personal trainer for 20 years and I love race walking. My husband and I recently added Transcendental Meditation to our daily routine.
