I’m originally from SoCal and currently reside in the Central Valley for over 10 years now. In my free time, I spend it with my family (including my dogs), learning something new, or discovering local restaurants. I’m a big fan of supporting small businesses whenever possible. When I can, I like to go hiking and always enjoy a trip to any of the National or State Parks (Yosemite National Park never gets old!)
What inspires me
Engaging in purposeful work.
My favorite thing(s):
My family, my dogs, the mountains, and a strong cup of coffee – no cream or sugar.
Most effective saving tip:
Live below your means. Start with tracking your spending because you can’t manage what you don’t know.
The person I look up to:
My parents, for sure! As a first-generation Hmong woman and child of refugees, I have been fortunate to have the opportunities that I’ve had because of the tremendous hurdles my parents had to surpass to be where they are today. They inspire me to stay disciplined, persevere, and be the best version of myself every single day.
